Imagining

A girl seeing her brother go off to school. She has to stay home and work.
The family can't afford for all the children to be educated. The girl is the one chosen to miss out.

Young stepping child into the future

Our first Volunteer, Mallory Moran, is a photographer. In 2010, she worked for three months at St. Xavier's, empowering young girls, and then at Prema Vassam, helping out with the orphanage.

Here are galleries of her own photography and that of her students.

Mal's and the girls' photos can be purchased for $25 each - 5” x 7”, $35 - 8” x 10”, $45 -  13” x 19”.  90% of the contribution will be donated to the girls at St. Xavier's High School. Order photographs on line or contact us at 1 303 594 2112 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

St. Xavier Students' work: multiple exposures using plastic cameras.

Prints from just $25 contribution, please.

The style that Mal is teaching the students is "lomography" - a sense of the roughness and randomness that will happen by chance with cheap plastic film cameras. "Perfection" is the accident, the other, the random, the mistake.
