Our affordable volunteer vacations and volunteer internships allow us to enable others to experience the powerful effects of service to others and to provide hands on support to our partner organizations. We organize volunteer vacations and volunteer internships in India to support our partner orphanage and girls’ high school and will soon offer a program in the United States. The partners we place we place volunteers are also organizations that we support financially. Support in both ways helps break the cycle of poverty and help St. Xavier's Girls High School and Prema Vasam Orphanage remain viable for the long term.

We’ll give you advice on how to add on some site seeing, rest and relaxation and cultural immersion to your volunteer vacation by traveling in India or spending time in our future United States location.

Poor Girls High School located in the village of Naidupuram, in Kodaikanal, India.

Volunteer opportunities in India:

• Tutoring – support education, empowerment through knowledge and confidence, bonding, support

• Teaching various subjects like English, Art, Nutrition – support education, empowerment through knowledge and confidence, bonding, support

• Plan outings – support cultural experiences, athletic events, tours and travel to expand the girl’s horizons, empower through new experiences, enjoyment, bonding

Prema Vasam Home for Mentally Retarded, Physically Handicapped and Orphan Children

Prema Vasam is located in the village of Manjampadi, near the city of Chennai, India

Volunteer opportunities in India:

• Tutoring in various subjects and teaching English – support education, empowerment through knowledge and confidence, bonding, support

• Helping to take care of the children before and after school

• Plan outings – support cultural experiences, athletic events, tours and travel to expand the children’s horizons, empower through new experiences, enjoyment, bonding

• Physical therapy – basic therapy such as moving limbs and massaging and talking to handicapped children. Feeding the handicapped children who are unable to feed themselves
